A new large poster is adorning one of the buildings at the Stiegelmeyer campus in Herford, Germany. From a distance, passing pedestrians and drivers can already see the display of beds, bedside cabinets and furniture. The attractive selection of our products invites people to visit the neighbouring showroom.

Yesterday, the annual Girls & Boys Day took place across Germany. This nation-wide action day allows girls and boys starting from the 5th grade to try out new occupations – free from gender stereotypes. At Stiegelmeyer’s headquarters in Herford 5 girls and 1 boy got to know the bed repair workshop, the spare parts dispatch and the metal production and were able to participate in several tasks. One highlight was the construction of small hospital beds made from metal which can now be used as smartphone holders. All involved had a great time and are looking forward to the next Girls & Boys Day!
